Our History

SULLENS TRUCKING CO. was founded in December 1989 in Georgia, Dahlonega, GA. We are a 48-state contract carrier operating under authority granted by the federal department of TRUCKING, .

As a company, we are dedicated to providing SAFE, RELIABLE, and PROFESSIONAL SERVICES to our customers. We are also very committed to our employees on a personal level.

The company was originally formed for exclusive TRUCKING for Showplace Wood Products, a producer of kitchen and bath cabinetry, and we currently haul a variety of freight including windmill blades.

The company was founded by Bruce and Jerry Fowlds with a combined experience of 64 years in the trucking industry. Both partners believed in a family-oriented business, and our office staff and drivers reflect that every day. In 2022, SULLENS GAbecame part of the True North family of independent companies.

We specialize in multiple stop truck loads with excellent drop pay. We also haul no touch loads with one to two drops for easy unloading. We use and  maintain late model equipment, so the drivers have safe and reliable vehicles.
